SALARY REQUIREMENTS


Candidates are invited to submit their salary expectations along with their application. The compensation for this role will be competitive and is aligned with industry standards, taking into consideration factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. The base salary range for this position is $262,000 to $330,000 (USD), exclusive of any discretionary bonuses and benefits.


JOB DESCRIPTION


MissionEdge Technologies is seeking an experienced Windows Mobile Device Systems Engineer to perform a variety of engineering analyses, software, hardware, development, integration, testing, maintenance tasks, and support duties. The team consists of about 20 engineers and are looking for an experienced Windows Mobile Device Systems Engineer to support Azure Infrastructure. Troubleshooting, problem resolution, supporting existing infrastructure services, and integrating new capabilities are within the scope of required skills. If you enjoy small teams and can work independently, this may be the job for you. This position offers 1 day remote after 3 months​.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Managing and securing mobile devices with the organization.

  • Configuring, deploying, and maintaining mobile device management (MDM) solutions with focus on Microsoft Intune, Android, and iOS devicesEnsuring mobile devices are compliant with company policies and provide troubleshooting and solutions for issues.

  • Research and solution best method of installing/deploying applications in the Azure CloudMonitor, evaluate applications, Cloud/Azure Virtual Desktop (VDI) environments, and application deployments.

  • Work with mobile devices, mobile operating systems, MDM solutions, mobile device security, mobile device apps, mobile device enrollments, and end users.

  • Research, solution, and deliver on new technical requirements.

  • Provide troubleshooting and Engineering support at the Tier3 level for Windows 10 (and higher) desktop operating systems, including establishing new build and deployment methods for Windows workstations.

  • Troubleshoot and support Windows Server 2019 (and higher) technologies.

  • Provide troubleshooting and engineering support for Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Group PolicyCollaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Document system changes/ updates.

  • Support other Tier 3 and Tier 4 personnel with user issues, including application assistance, network troubleshooting, and other user assistance items as needed.

  • Create and deliver briefings to customer at various levels.


Minimum Required Qualifications:


  • Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.  

  • Prior to interview a Letter of Intent must be signed.

  • Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph

  • Minimum 11 years' relevant experience and a Bachelors' Degree.

  • Candidate must have experience in the following:

    • Ability to Collaborate within the team and stakeholders.

    • Experience with Mobile Application Management (MAM) and best practices.

    • Experience developing and maintain best practice workflow for software requests, procurement, and deployments.

    • Experience with Cloud/SAAS solutions maintaining software.

    • Familiarity with Cloud infrastructures.

    • Significant engineering experience supporting Windows platform environments with the following core MS Windows platforms, services, and tools: Windows 10 (and higher) desktop operating systems. Windows 2019 (and higher) server operating systems. Active DirectoryGroup, PolicyDNS, DHCPStrong.

    • Written and verbal communication skills.

    • Strong documentation skills.

    • Robust troubleshooting skills.

    • Ability to develop and deploy best practice architecture.

    • Ability to monitor and evaluate mobile device environments


Desired/Preferred Skills:


  • Microsoft M365Microsoft Azure.

  • Working knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

  • Familiar with Azure DevOps.

  • Working knowledge of GIT

  • HubWorking knowledge of PowerBIVisual Studio CodeMicrosoft KQLInTune Administration and ConfigurationTerraformAgile Methodology.

  • Ability to create/modify MS PowerShell scripts

  • Certifications: Microsoft Certs, Microsoft AZ900 and MS90


Working Conditions:


Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

 

Physical Requirements:


May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
