Expert Systems Engineer

SALARY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates are invited to submit their salary expectations along with their application. The compensation for this role will be competitive and is aligned with industry standards, taking into consideration factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. The base salary range for this position is $186,886 to $303,330 (USD), exclusive of any discretionary bonuses and benefits.

JOB DESCRIPTION

MissionEdge Technologies is seeking skilled Systems Engineer to maintain, adjust, load balance, and configure Citrix Netscalers for a mission critical program within our government customer's environment.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.  

• Prior to interview a Letter of Intent must be signed.

• Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph

• This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and at least eleven (11 ) years or overall IT experience.

• 1 year of Experience configuring NetScaler

• Experience with Citrix

• Experience Load Balancing

• Experience fixing networking issues

Desired/Preferred Skills:

Masters in programming, computer science, networking, or related field

• Certifications in: NetScaler, Citrix, Networking

• Preferred Experience in:

NetScaler

SDX

MPX

VPX

Architect and Design Citrix Gateway

GSLB

Load Balancing

NetScaler Console

Monitor and troubleshoot XenDesktop User Experience

Pooled Licensing

NetScaler Management

Abilities to work with Networks to design and install NetScaler

VLANS

Subnetting

LACP’s

• Experience with Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktops in an enterprise environment on Hyper-V, Nutanix, and VMWare

• NetScaler policy experience with responder and rewrite

• Ability to create customer HTML Pages

Working Conditions:

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
