SALARY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates are invited to submit their salary expectations along with their application. The compensation for this role will be competitive and is aligned with industry standards, taking into consideration factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. The base salary range for this position is $245,000 to $307,000 (USD), exclusive of any discretionary bonuses and benefits.
JOB DESCRIPTION
MissionEdge Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our technology-based program supporting a key Government customer in the Virgina Location.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
Prior to interview a Letter of Intent must be signed.
This position requires a Background Check to be performed.
Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph
A bachelor’s or master’s degrees in computer science are preferred with a minimum of three (6) year's relevant experience with the following skillsets:
Infrastructure as a code languages (Ansible, Puppet, or chef as examples).
Eclipse developmental duties Git Hub, Dev Ops, Java and Python.
Have experience in security review of applications and infrastructure.
6+Years experience participating in agile activities.
Researches new technologies in object oriented programming.
Experience in Cloud based services.
Must work well in a engineering team environment with other teammates who varied skills levels.
Desired/Preferred Skills
Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Docker, Vagrant, etc.
Experience with build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc.
Experience with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc.
Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Shell, etc.
Working Conditions
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.
Physical Requirements
May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
Background Screening/Check/Investigation
Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
